Referral - Christmas Version - DirectTV
Role: Remove party decorations from previously-finished ad so Christmas decorations could be added in for a holiday version of the promotion.
Role: Create articulate roto matte of Sara’s torso, skirt and legs to be combined with other artists’ work on her arms and head for selective color correction. This project involved 5,400 frames of roto in 10 days.
Dead Girl - The House That Jack Built
Role: Add extra gore to the limited amount of makeup to make it appear as though actress had just been beaten to death by a hammer. Worked closely with supervisor in adding more and more details and ideas, including ripping off her nostril and lip.(AuthorityFX)
Time Warner Cable - LAG
Role: Original instructions were to extract soldiers off of the green screen ground as well as the rock. Also provided a matte of the rock, although it does not appear in my breakdown.
Canon Printer Ad
Role: Provided complex roto for a variety of shots, where the end-result needed to be live-action pages/printers/cameras while all talent would simply be silhouettes against motion graphics. Final ad by Atticus Finch.
Leg Shot
Role: Roto separate mattes for actress’s leg and both light and dark shadows for logo removal. Final comp originally done by Demiurge. Logo removal as seen in my reel was done by me.
MLB Extra Innings - DirectTV
Role: Provide detailed full-body mattes for baseball players to be composited into motion graphics. Graphic work by Demiurge.
ESPY Awards 2009 Opener
Role: Provided wire removal on every shot of live golf balls for trick shots being performed by Samuel L. Jackson and Justin Timberlake. Piano was the most difficult, with many wires to remove in prepping for a CG golf ball. Comps by AuthorityFX.
